My name is Mellisa, and I am the founder of The Rooted Jewel. I have numerous passions in life, but art stands out as one of my greatest loves, alongside my dog Lily, of course. From a young age, I experimented with various mediums and techniques, discovering that my true joy lies in imitating nature and capturing its beauty.

 

When I decided to blend this passion into jewelry design, I concluded that art should be wearable. My love for the Earth and its wonders inspired me to incorporate these elements into my creations. This led me to the idea of using aerial landscape photography as a source of inspiration, as photography is another passion of mine.
